A Roofer for Both Sides of the Line

Ask three Line Lexington neighbors what township they live in and you might get three different answers. The village spans two counties and three townships, but its homes share the same weather and the same roofing needs. DaVinci Roofing & Gutters serves the whole area, from older houses near the Route 309 and Route 152 crossroads to newer homes on the surrounding streets.

We repair and replace asphalt shingle, slate, synthetic slate, cedar shake, standing seam metal, and copper roofs, and we install flat roofing in EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen. We also install vinyl, fiber cement, and cedar siding and seamless gutters with guards and downspouts. What Our Customers Say

★★★★★

We’ve been in our home for over 20 years and working with David and his team from Davinci Roofing and gutters was the best experience we’ve had with any contractor. His pricing was fair, he was always on time and responded to texts and calls quickly answering our questions. The quality of the installation of our new roof was outstanding. On the day of our install I took off to be home. David was on site all day, and provided us with drone pictures of our home showing each step of the process. This gave us visibility to any issues found on the roof and we could see the progress of the job. David even replaced a small section of siding for us, at no charge, that was damaged. Our satisfaction was most important to him and we very much appreciated his desire to do the job right. At the end of the day his team cleaned up as if they had never been there. I would highly recommend Davinci Roofing.

An Old Coach Stop Where Two Counties Meet

Line Lexington is an unincorporated village that sits right on the Bucks–Montgomery county line, with parts in Hilltown and New Britain townships in Bucks County and Hatfield Township in Montgomery County. It grew up where today’s Route 309 meets Route 152. Around 1800 the settlement was called Middletown, a stop midway along the coach route between Philadelphia and Bethlehem. It was later renamed Lexington, and when a post office opened in 1827, “Line” was added to set it apart from other Lexingtons.

Some of the village’s roots run even deeper. The Lexington Mennonite Church traces its congregation to 1752. Around the old crossroads, Line Lexington holds a mix of older houses and more recent residential neighborhoods, which means roofing needs vary from one street to the next.

Older homes near the crossroads may have chimneys with tired mortar, flashing that has been patched more than once, and roof framing that has settled over time. Replacing a roof on one of these houses often involves repairing decking and rebuilding flashing so the new roof lies flat and sheds water properly. Newer homes, meanwhile, may be at the age where original shingles, vinyl siding, and aluminum gutters are all wearing out at once, which makes it practical to plan those updates together.

Being on a busy highway corridor also means plenty of businesses with flat and low-slope roofs. And everyone here deals with the same weather: repeated freeze-thaw cycles, ice dams after snowfalls, summer thunderstorms with strong gusts and occasional hail, and fall leaves that fill gutters fast. Regular checkups keep those seasonal stresses from turning into leaks, and a clean set of gutters in late fall is the simplest way to head off ice dams before winter arrives.

How We Replace a Roof

Building a New Roof, Layer by Layer

Step 1

Careful Tear-Off

We strip the old roof to bare decking and keep nails and debris out of your lawn and driveway.

Step 2

Deck & Edge Prep

Rotted boards are replaced and ice and water barrier is added along eaves, valleys, and walls.

Step 3

Premium Underlayment

Synthetic underlayment covers the deck as a backup against wind-driven rain.

Step 4

Precision Installation

Shingles, flashing, ridge vents, and trim are installed to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Commercial Roofing

Commercial Roofing in Line Lexington

The Route 309 corridor through Line Lexington carries plenty of traffic and supports a range of businesses, from shops and service companies to offices and churches nearby. Many of those buildings have flat or low-slope roofs, where a small seam failure can turn into an interior leak after a single heavy storm.

DaVinci Roofing & Gutters installs, repairs, and maintains EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen roofing for commercial owners. We trace leaks to their source, repair seams and flashing around rooftop equipment, correct drainage problems, and help you plan for long-term replacement. We schedule work to keep your business running and give you clear updates from the first inspection to final cleanup.

Warning Signs

Is Your Line Lexington Roof Wearing Out?

Most roofs give plenty of warning before they fail, if you know what to look for. Call for an inspection if you notice:

A quick repair now is almost always less expensive than fixing water damage later.

Preventative Maintenance

Roof Inspections Around Line Lexington

The trouble with roof damage is that it usually starts where you can’t see it. Wind lifts the edge of a shingle, a pipe boot cracks in the sun, or chimney flashing pulls away from the masonry, and water begins working its way into the decking long before a stain appears on a ceiling.

In Line Lexington, the mix of housing makes regular inspections worthwhile. Older homes near the crossroads may be carrying several generations of repairs, and it takes a close look to see which ones are still doing their job. Homes in newer neighborhoods may be approaching the end of their original roof, and knowing that ahead of time makes it much easier to plan and budget.

We inspect the roof surface, ridges, flashing, chimneys, vents, skylights, gutters, downspouts, soffits, and fascia. When we can get into the attic safely, we check for moisture, daylight, and ventilation issues too. You’ll see photos of everything and get a straightforward explanation of your roof’s condition and remaining life.

If repairs will solve the problem, we’ll say so. If replacement is the better value, we’ll explain why and put the details in writing. You’re free to take your time deciding.
