Your Local Roofing Contractor
Replacing or repairing a roof is one of the biggest decisions a homeowner makes, and it deserves straight answers. DaVinci Roofing & Gutters inspects your roof, shows you photos of what we find, and explains whether a targeted repair will do the job or whether replacement is the smarter investment. If a repair will buy you years, we’ll tell you.
When it is time for a new roof, we install top-brand materials in a wide range of colors and styles, with careful attention to decking, flashing, underlayment, and ventilation. No project is too large or too small, and we can pair your new roof with seamless gutters and new siding for a complete exterior. Ask about our financing options.
Roofing Services
Whatever your roof needs, one experienced local team handles it from inspection to final cleanup.
Leaks, missing or damaged shingles, worn flashing around chimneys, skylights, and vents. We find the source and fix it before water damage spreads.
Full tear-off down to the deck, repairs to any soft or rotted wood, and a new roofing system matched to your home, budget, and long-term plans.
Durable architectural shingles in a wide range of colors, installed with quality underlayment, ice and water protection, and proper ventilation.
Specialty roofing for historic homes and high-end projects, including slate and synthetic slate, cedar shake, standing seam metal, and custom copper work.
EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen systems for porches, additions, and commercial buildings, installed to resist leaks and ponding water.
After wind, hail, or a fallen limb, we document the damage, make temporary repairs when needed, and can meet your adjuster on site.
Our Process
Every roof we install follows the same careful process, so nothing is hidden under your new shingles.
Step 1
Old roofing comes off down to the deck, with your landscaping and property protected throughout.
Step 2
We check every section of decking and replace anything soft, rotted, or damaged.
Step 3
Ice and water barrier at eaves and valleys, plus a high-performance synthetic underlayment.
Step 4
Shingles, flashing, drip edge, and ventilation installed to manufacturer specifications, then a full cleanup.
A Cleaner Job Site
Roof tear-offs create a lot of debris. The Equipter RB4000 is a self-propelled, lifting debris trailer that lets our crew drop old shingles and nails straight into a container at roof level instead of tossing them onto your lawn, driveway, and flower beds.
It can drive right up to the work area and move across the yard while helping avoid the ruts a truck or dumpster can leave behind. That means less mess, less wear on your property, and a faster, tidier cleanup when your new roof is finished.
What Our Customers Say
We’ve been in our home for over 20 years and working with David and his team from Davinci Roofing and gutters was the best experience we’ve had with any contractor. His pricing was fair, he was always on time and responded to texts and calls quickly answering our questions. The quality of the installation of our new roof was outstanding. On the day of our install I took off to be home. David was on site all day, and provided us with drone pictures of our home showing each step of the process. This gave us visibility to any issues found on the roof and we could see the progress of the job. David even replaced a small section of siding for us, at no charge, that was damaged. Our satisfaction was most important to him and we very much appreciated his desire to do the job right. At the end of the day his team cleaned up as if they had never been there. I would highly recommend Davinci Roofing.

FAQ
There is no single price, because the total depends on your roof’s size and pitch, the material you choose, how many layers need to come off, and whether any decking is damaged. Asphalt shingles cost less than metal, slate, or cedar shake. We give every homeowner a free, written estimate after inspecting the roof, and we offer financing options if you would rather spread the cost out.
Isolated damage, such as a few missing shingles, a worn patch of flashing, or a single leak, can usually be repaired. Widespread granule loss, curling or cracking shingles, sagging, or leaks in several places usually point to replacement. Our team will walk the roof, show you photos of what we find, and tell you honestly which option makes sense. Request a free roof inspection to find out.
As a rough guide, asphalt shingles last about 20 to 30 years, cedar shake about 20 to 40, standing seam metal 40 years or more, and slate often 75 years or more. Freeze-thaw cycles, ice dams, summer storms, poor attic ventilation, and overhanging trees all shorten those numbers in our region. Regular inspections help you get the most from whichever material you choose.
We install asphalt shingles, slate and synthetic slate, cedar shake, standing seam metal, and copper, plus flat roofing systems such as EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen for low-slope roofs and commercial buildings. If you are weighing options, we will explain how each one performs, what it looks like on your style of home, and how it fits your budget.
Yes. After wind, hail, or a fallen limb, we inspect the roof, document the damage with photos, and can meet your adjuster on site so nothing gets overlooked. We also make temporary repairs when needed to prevent further water damage. Every claim is different, so the final decision on coverage always rests with your insurance company.
Roofs can be replaced most of the year in Pennsylvania and New Jersey when the weather cooperates, and spring and fall are the busiest seasons. If your roof is actively leaking or storm-damaged, waiting usually costs more than acting. We will schedule around forecasts and protect your home if conditions change mid-project.
We recommend a full tear-off in most cases. Building codes generally limit how many layers a roof can carry, and removing the old material lets us inspect the deck for rot or moisture damage and replace anything that is soft before the new roof goes on. Installing over old shingles can hide problems that surface later.
Ice dams form when heat escaping from the attic melts snow on the roof, and the water refreezes at the cold eaves, backing up under the shingles. Long-term prevention comes from good attic insulation and ventilation, plus ice and water barrier along the eaves during installation. Keeping gutters clear also helps meltwater drain away from the roof edge.
Yes. We repair and replace flat and low-slope roofs on porches, additions, apartment buildings, and commercial properties using EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen systems. We also handle leak detection and preventative maintenance so small problems do not turn into interior damage.
